Electric Reach Truck Working Principle

The gantry or fork frame of the electric reach truck can be moved back and forth. In the case of the gantry forward-moving forklift, the door frame drives the fork forward during the operation. The fork stretches out of the front wheel and pick up then put down the goods. When walking, the fork carries the goods back, so that the cargo center is in the support surface. When the fork forward-moving forklift is in operation, the fork rack carries the fork to move forward to the outside of the front wheel to carry out the work. When walking, the fork rack brings the goods back into the support surface. The reach truck has two forward legs, the legs are high, and the front end of the leg has two wheels. The function of the legs is to ensure the stability of the forklift under load. Compared with the pin-type forklift, the front wheel is larger and the legs are higher. The legs cannot be inserted into the bottom of the cargo during operation, and the gantry can be moved along the track on the inner side of the leg with the entire hoisting mechanism, so that the fork can be retracted by lifting a height slightly after picking up the cargo, so that to ensure the stability of the forklift during operation. The gantry of the reach truck can be moved forward along the track on the inside of the leg for easy fork picking. After the cargo is picked up, the gantry rises to a certain height, and the gantry can return to the original position along the track on the inner side of the leg, so that the center of gravity of the cargo is kept in the front and rear support legs of the vehicle, thus the stability performance is great. And it is suitable for work in workshops and warehouses.
