In order to ensure the safety factor of the telescopic platform, there are many safety devices for the telescopic platform. Today we will talk about the anti-fall safety devices and safety switches:
1. Anti-fall safety device
The anti-falling safety device is an important part of the telescopic platform, which can prevent the cage from falling accidents and ensure the safety of the occupants. Therefore, the factory test of the anti-falling safety device is very strict. Before leaving the factory, the legal inspection unit will measure the torque, measure the critical speed, and measure the spring compression. Each anti-fall safety device is accompanied by a test report, and the drop test under rated load is performed after being assembled on the elevator. The telescopic platform in use on the construction site must undergo a drop test every three months. The anti-falling safety device of the telescopic platform that has been delivered for two years (the date of delivery of the anti-falling safety device) must also be sent to the legal inspection unit for inspection and testing, and the inspection shall be conducted once a year.
2. Safety switch
The safety switches of the lift are all designed according to safety needs, including fence door limit, cage door limit, top door limit, limit switch, upper and lower limit switch, counterweight anti-break rope protection switch, etc. In some construction sites, some limit switches are manually cancelled and short-circuited or damaged and not repaired in time for convenience, which is equivalent to canceling these safety lines of defense and laying potential accidents.
3. Replacement of worn gears and racks
During construction on the site, the working environment is harsh, and cement, mortar, and dust cannot be eliminated. Gears and racks grind each other, and sometimes the teeth are sharpened and still in use, which should be paid attention to. As we all know, the tooth profile should be like a cantilever beam. When worn to a certain size, the gear (or rack) must be replaced.
4. Temporary load rate
The elevators on the construction site are frequently operated and the utilization rate is high. Therefore, we have to consider the problem of the intermittent working system of the motor, which is often referred to as the problem of the temporary load rate (sometimes called the load duration rate). Its definition is FC=work cycle time/load time×100%, where the work cycle time is load time and downtime.
5. Buffer
The last line of defense for the safety of the telescopic platform of the buffer on the elevator. First, it must be installed; second, it must have a certain strength, can withstand the impact of the elevator's rated load, and play a buffering role. And now many construction sites, although some have buffers, they are not enough to work, and some construction sites do not have buffers at all. This is completely wrong. The unit pays attention to checking the buffer, and do not underestimate this last line of defense.
