The drive axle housing is firmly installed on the forklift frame. Because the drive axle and the frame are rigidly connected, the drive axle will bear most of the weight during forklifting, handling, and stacking operations, and there are also uneven roads and uneven fork loads. In this way, the drive axle will be bent, broken, and the axle sleeve bearing hole will be worn and the axle sleeve journal will be worn out. How can we repair these problems?
1. Repair of curved driving axle housing of electric forklift (China):
Correction should be made when the drive axle housing is bent beyond the limit. During correction, the correction deformation should not be greater than the original bending deformation, and the correction pressure should be maintained for a period of time so that the axle housing has a certain degree of plastic deformation. If the deformation is too large, when the bending deformation is greater than 2mm, it can be corrected after preheating, but the heating temperature is not allowed to exceed 700°C. The cast axle housing avoids heating correction.
2. Repair of cracked driving axle housing of electric forklift (China), cracks in the middle of driving axle housing and cracks on the flange can be repaired by welding. The main points of operation are as follows:
(1) For electric welding to repair cracks, the weld layer should be higher than the base metal, but not more than 1mm. After the front side is welded, repair the weld on the back side, and the weld seam should be smoothed after welding. If the welding repair is on the working plane, the flatness error should not exceed 0.25mm.
(2) After the crack is repaired, the reinforced web shall be welded at the crack, the thickness of which is generally 4-6mm, and the reinforced web shall be symmetrical to the center of the drive axle housing.
(3) If the crack penetrates into the drive axle housing cover or the flange plane of the final drive, another reinforcement web ring shall be welded after welding repair. The reinforced abdomen ring of the drive axle housing cover of the electric forklift can be multiplexed on the outside, and the main reducer housing should be multiplexed on the inside depending on the permission of the internal space. When welding the reinforced web ring, first press the reinforced web ring on the plane with bolts to avoid position shift and deflection during welding.
(4) The driving axle housing of the electric forklift after repairing and repairing shall be re-examined for its straightness error, the flatness error of the cover surface and the flange plane of the main reducer, and corrected and ground to meet the standards.
